Tasks:

  • handling cases involving supervision over compliance with the law of resolutions and ordinances of gmina and poviat authorities, the Voivodeship’s local government and the Supervisory Board of the Voivodship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management;
  • handling cases involving the submission of resolutions adopted by local government units concerning their membership in international associations of local and regional communities to the minister in charge of foreign affairs; 
  • handling cases involving requests for registration of  inter-gmina and inter-poviat associations, as filed by gmina and poviat councils to the authority responsible for keeping records of such associations; 
  • providing legal services to the office;
  • issuing opinions on the drafts of local legal regulations; 
  • handling cases involving to the appointment of receivership to local government bodies;
  • handling cases involving changes in the territorial division and names of localities;
  • keeping the central register of the voivode's legal acts and internal regulations of the general director
