Mariusz Łuczyk was born on the 24th of September 1962 in Miastko. He graduated from Pomeranian Academy in Słupsk with a masters degree. He is a qualified history, civics and family studies teacher. He is an expert for the Ministry of Education in the teachers professional advancement.
He was active in local governments. From 2006 until 2015 he was the Councillor in the Bytow Poviat. He was also Deputy Chairman of the Council Board from 2006 until 2008 and the chairman of the PIS Councillors in the Bytow Poviat.
He was appointed Deputy Governor on the 16 th December 2015.
